Project
Utilizing market research and ecommerce usability studies to revamp and relaunch legacy web site product. Created a scalable front-end ecommerce platform capable of serving existing client base of nearly 2,000 durable goods, independent retailers.
Key Features
This digital project was developed within a modular system which to allow flexibility and able to seamlessly evolve with emerging web trends. Bootstrap framework was integrated with proprietary Java-based preprocessing scripting language to create an end-to-end web platform. Created component based homepage layouts for unique site designs. Provided design team with training and documentation.

Utilized Research
1,468 consumers from all over the United States. Retailer Web Services surveyed 300 people by telephone and 1,168 people answered surveys online. The responses obtained by telephone and online showed no statistically significant variation in the answers received to any question.
90.9% of consumers said their first step would be to do an internet search.
96.4% said they would use either internet search or a website to find the store's phone number (R.I.P. Whitepages).
98.8% of respondents will use the internet (either on their Smartphone or desktop) to get directions to your store
Only 19.5% of consumers were able to name a local independent appliance retailer
